At first blush I was disappointed over the color not being the same as depicted on the website. The pair shipped are light brown or the color of cardboard, instead of cognac. But after putting the slipper on and feeling how warm they are and that they cover my ankle this discrepency went away. I'm able to wear the slipper with or without socks. The sole is a bit cheap for the price of this slipper, but is durable and will last a long time. I would have preferred a leather sole, but when the time comes to replace, I'm sure a local shoe repair shop can do a replacement. All in all, I'd order from Sheepskin Town again.
