Magazines and Blogs Incorporating Fur In To Chic Interior Design

In the December issue of Elle Decoration they gave us a glimpse inside a beautiful rustic ski chalet in France. The chalet features a minimalist design concept but the luxurious fur accessories give the space a warm and cozy feel. The fur pieces in this spread include a fur chair with wooden antler-like sides, a comfy fur seat, a stunning cowhide rug and a fur camping chair that folds up. These items are paired with traditional home accessories and the contrast between the luxurious fur with the rustic wood is truly breathtaking. View the stunning pictures in this Elle spread here and see our selection of fur blankets and pillows. We've seen how ELLE Decoration incorporated fur in to the design concept of a rustic cabin. The exciting thing about fur is that it is very versatile, so even though it looks stunning in a cabin it will look equally as fantastic in an elegant/luxurious home. This week our design inspiration comes from the design blog "Life, Love & Luxury" where Manhattan-based style manager Angela Leland gives us chic ideas on how to incorporate fur in to our bedroom design. She shows that a fur throw or sheepskin rug can give any room a high-class, luxurious touch. The weather outside might be awfully cold but once you wrap yourself in a luxurious Sheepskin Throw you will find winter to be slightly more tolerable. Sheepskin rugs also prove to be an elegant style choice in the home and add a touch of class and warmth to any room. Fur pieces have had a reputation for looking overly masculine but Angela Leland proves that by incorporating it with the right furniture a fur throw or rug can look extremely feminine and glam.
