Layering Rugs

American tabloid OK Magazine recently interviewed interior designer to celebrities, Kim Gieskes, and she offered her opinion on how she thinks "Kimye" (aka Kim Kardashian and Kanye West) should decorate their baby room.  The couple recently disclosed they are having a baby girl so Kim Gieskes interior vision is perfectly elegant for a little girls room.

As you may notice from Gieskes sketch she layered a white rug over top a larger rug and OK Magazine took notice, they asked her about this design technique and she responded by saying, "Layering  rugs is also really hot right now. If you want to do a wall-to-wall rug it’s really hot to layer a sheepskin or flokati on top of that. It makes the nursery really cozy, too."
