I'm a woman with large hands, and I like gloves and mittens to have plenty of room inside because my hands are a bit stiff. I have an 8.5 palm circumference and ordered an XL. They are exactly what I wanted! The black Napa finish provides enough smoothness to mostly shed snow. They are more supple than other mittens I've purchased elsewhere, too. The cuff is longer than women's typically are (11 inches from nose to tail) so no drafty wrists. The black shearling lining is dense and warm. +++

Beautiful and well made gloves. Very warm but there really should be ones wider for those of us with wide hands. I bought the largest and will still need to break them in and stretch slightly with wear so they aren’t as tight around the palms.
