Bought the double skin for my mother as she recuperates from a fall and is bedridden for now and she seems to like the soft fur as an aid for her stiff back. Hopefully, she will be able to walk soon but I doubt she will part with her sheepskin anytime soon!
We are very pleased with our new sheepskin. We already had one for our leather couch (a very appreciated gift)and wanted another for our leather chair for that wonderful warmth and comfort. Also have a pair of sheepskin slippers in the house that are highly recommended, as they were to us. Also we were very pleased with the service.
seems great so far, hasn't been washed yet though, my only negative comment is that I was unable to use my American Express card for payment due to a problem with their payment system and they didn't make any effort to help except to ask me to use a different credit card
We purchased the sheep skin for my mom who is bed ridden and has bed sores. The length of the double pelt is good. It covers the full length of her twin size hospital bed, with some hanging over off the bed lengthwise. But the width of it is insufficient. When we turn her, we are constantly having to lift her up to adjust the pelt width-wise so that her arms are not off the pad. I have considered cutting off the portion that hangs off the bed and a portion of the pad that lays under her pillow then sewing it onto the side of the pelt to give her padding where it's needed. just as the two pelts were sewn in the middle by the manufacturer to make it long enough. Being a pelt, it does stay in place, is nice and soft, but just isn't wide enough

It now goes the length of the chair but when my 5'4", 130 lb 89 year old mom sits on it in the chair it is not wide enough to cover the arms of the chair. Which means her very delicate skin which so needs this product isn't resting in it.
Over all great product, I would like to see them a little wider with more dense wool and leather backing. I have been using sheepskins for pressure sore prevention for over 20 years now and the sheepskins over the years have been getting lighter weight and smaller in size. The breed of sheep has changed or something. I have been struggling the last four years getting the sheepskins that I'm accustomed to. Sheepskin Town has the largest I can find at this time and I have been trying hard too. Customer service is friendly and helpful. I try to get them to sort through their inventory to pick one as close to my needs as they can before they ship me one. Thanks! Shipping and price is great!
Wonderful product. No odor. Arrived on time. Wish it was straight. Because it's natural it has curves that seem to miss the body parts that need it. Excellent seller
Need to include care instructions in package or correspondance. A free sample of an appropriate soap or cleaner would be appreciated as many different opinions on internet as to what you should use.
