I have purchased a large medical sheep skin for my brother who is suffering from cancer and is bedridden in the hospital. The staff was impressed with the superior quality of this blanket when they placed it on my brother's bed. He seemed so comfortable laying on this blanket. I would recommend the purchase of this product to everyone.
They are a great slipper. So warm, soft and easy to get on and off. The sole is a soft leather, so I'm thinking they will wear out before the rest of the slipper is ready to retire. I searched retail and internet, and you are the only place where I could source these. Thank you!
I bought this 8 months ago to protect my mattress because I really don't like even the best mattress protectors. None of them breathe regardless of claims or price. I paid $2500 for my queen-sized mattress set so and extra $500 for a sheepskin didn't seem too extravagant. I AM SO HAPPY with this purchase. The comfort level I now experience is nothing short of LUXURY. The only thing missing would be nice strong adjustable elastics to hold it firmly in place. Don't skimp, go SheepskinTown sheepskin!
Purchased this for my two and a half year old daughter. She'd transitioned from crib to toddler rail and we gradually noticed she wasn't able to get comfortable on the very firm baby mattress. Tried an extra padded mattress cover but she would still roll around and not get to sleep, especially at the all important nap time. Our sheepskin arrived in less than a week (during a northern snowstorm) with no odor (I'm real picky a/b that) and is soft and beautiful. We didn't have to air it as expected and she loves it! We place it under her fitted sheet and, though nap time is far from perfect, we've noticed a positive difference. Now she talks about, "...sleeping on my sheep..." at bedtime.
using for my Mom who is in wheelchair. Her mobility is very little and she spents many hours in her chair or in bed. Hoping it will help prevent bed sores and other pains but have only purchased and have had very little time to see how it will work. This website is very good and easy to maneuver. Delivery was very quick. Only negative they didn't have the XL in stock so settled for L.

Over all great product, I would like to see them a little wider with more dense wool and leather backing. I have been using sheepskins for pressure sore prevention for over 20 years now and the sheepskins over the years have been getting lighter weight and smaller in size. The breed of sheep has changed or something. I have been struggling the last four years getting the sheepskins that I'm accustomed to. Sheepskin Town has the largest I can find at this time and I have been trying hard too. Customer service is friendly and helpful. I have tried a few mattresses ------ not much luck. The last comfortable one I can remember was the one in the military because of the flat springs under a thin mattress. I tried the "miracle foam" --- felt ok for a while but then started getting sore on the edges---(the 'line' where I'd sink to).. Turned into a nightmare. Although I wish I would have heard about the sheepskin cover back then. I think that would have remedied the situation.About 3 mattresses and 8 years later I order the sheepskin---received it 6 days later. Best move I could've made !!! My back and sides (hips and shoulders) no longer are sore. I sleep much better. I only wish I'd gotten it sooner. Good quality product. Thank you Sheepskin Town !!!!!!
I ordered two of Your Sheep skins for My wife, She has Alzheimer's, She now is at the point that She can't stand alone so She in bet for long hours, with the Sheep Skins we don't have to turn Her as often to prevent Bed Sores, they are working great and they are a God Sent for Me and also Her. I ordered a baby sheepskin for our daughters baby who is due in April. Both of our children grew up with a 'lambie' to lay on. It was the best thing ever. when we visited friends and the kids got tired we just lay them down on their sheepskin and they went right to sleep.
