I bought a sheep skin for my mother who is 94 years old. She is bedridden in a care home and can only get out of bed using a ceiling lift to move her to a wheelchair.She was having pain in her bum for months which could only be relieved by using strong medications. I received the sheepskin about 10 days ago and placed it under her legs and feet right away. WITHIN ONE DAY, the pain in her bum went away She is so much more lucid, smiles more and is grateful to be pain free, She says it is a miracle and from what I see I believe it. I injuries my lower back and the only way I had any relief was to sleep in a "Stressless" recliner. The recliner was leather and cursed skin problems. A doctor recommended I get a sheep shin pad to use in the chair. The sheepskin pad worked great. Not only do I sleep all night but my other issues have resolved them self.
I am using 3 of the large pads cut to size for 3 feral cat shelters for winter warmth and insulation. I love that i can wash these. They insulate beautifully, are very soft and don't have any particular smell to them that would deter the cats from using the shelters. I'm very happy with these and would love to purchase them for my own pets at home in the future. This company was very easy to work with.
My husband was struck by a hit and run driver and suffered multiple fractures and internal injuries and was bed ridden for about 4 full weeks. He started to get a bed sore so someone told me about using a sheep skin. I didn't have the time to be able to go and shop around locally so I went online and ordered from Sheepskintown.ca....my order arrived about a day later which was fantastic. I had also ordered the brush and shampoo...the reason I gave it a 4 star rating is that after I washed it following the instructions on the bottle...the sheep skin was not as soft as it had been previously. It did help with my husband and prevented more bed sores so I would recommend it for that reason. I am going to be giving it to a friend of mine who has a disabled child.

I ordered a large medical sheepskin for my mother. She is 80 years old and lives in extended care. She found such relief from aching muscles and pressure points that we ordered another to put in her recliner chair. The products are beautiful, luxurious and high quality. When I called, your service representative, Dominique, was very helpful and with her help was able to order what I needed. Not to be used for medical purposes what I wanted was a piece of sheepskin of the right dimensions to make a collar for a bomber's jacket. There's some left over that I can use for other things I also need. The pelt is beautiful and the collar turned out perfect. Thanks. Now that I know where you are I'll be ordering more in the future. Synthetics don't come close to the real thing.
We ordered our second Medical Sheepskin Pad (large) for my husband to protect his skin from breakdowns during sleep/rest. We will now rotate the two pads. This is a wonderful product - wears well, cleans well, goes right back into fullness after washing. This is a wonderful company with excellent service, timely response to ordering and quick delivery. We are very pleased with and highly recommend the product and the company.

This item was all that was expected. My husband feels very comfortable sleeping on it. He has hardly any fat on his body and this is exactly what he needed.
Partner was diagnosed with heat rash on his back. Since he is 89 years of age and sits most of the day we felt that if we got a sheepskin pad it would help air circulation. The rash is almost gone. Superb quality sheepskin at a reasonable cost. Considering buying another one for use in the bed. Highly recommended.
first I am always please with shopping experience, I used the product under my husband side of bed, another at his feet , I have purchased several pads but this one seems to shed on edge hoping this will go away.
Arrived only yesterday. Appears to exactly match the Sellers advertisement. I ordered it for my Wife, who has advanced Alzheimer's. She is unable to walk or move about, so my fear is bed sores. I placed it on her lift chair, fits great, .... I hope $ pray it will "do the job. The Seller was really great -- answered my questions before I ordered, communicated well throughout the delivery process.
Prompt shipment :) beautiful yummy yellowish color - very blush and soft. Mom is bed and chair bound - loves the feel - Very comfortable - helpful with bedsores ! For washing purposes I I would like to get another one while partially line drying this one
